Life Events

CONNECT
Inquire via our contact form and tell us about yourself and your event. We may chat through email, phone, or video to determine how we can make your event special. If we’re a great fit, we’ll send you a quote and contract to officially start the process.

COLLAB
We’ll explore your needs and vision through our design questionnaire and ongoing communication—email works great, but we're happy to hop on a call or Zoom if helpful. You bring the inspiration, we’ll bring the expertise!

DESIGN
Time to make magic! We’ll get to work designing your collateral with your event vision, vibe, color scheme, location, and budget in mind.

REVISE
We will send you up to three design ‘proofs,’ or concepts to review and give your feedback on so we can make any necessary adjustments—we want to ensure your final approved designs are nothing short of perfection!

CREATE
Our talented production team will work to physically produce your approved designs based upon our agreed production timeline. 

DELIVER
We will finalize logistics with you and either ship, coordinate delivery, or schedule pick-up for your items. All that’s left is to get excited for your event!

We know we’ve succeeded when you feel seen, heard, and blown away.

The signature experience

We recommend mailing save-the-dates 6–8 months before your wedding, and invitations 2–4 months in advance (add 1–3 months for destination weddings). To stay on schedule, please book our services 2–6 months before your send-out date. For day-of wedding items, the earlier you book, the better—we’ll get started as soon as you're ready!

How far in advance should I place my order and when should I mail everything out?

Absolutely! We are located in Orange County, California. Please send us an email at hello@velvetfoxdesigns.com if you’d like to set up an in-person appointment to discuss a potential or existing project.

In person meetings are by appointment only.

Can we meet in person?

Yes! We have a discounted business account with some shipping carriers, international shipping costs may certainly add up so we want to make sure we're offering our best options to you. Feel free to send us a message with what you’re looking for and we can put together a rough shipping quote for you.

DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?

Each rush order request is unique, so please send us an email at hello@velvetfoxdesigns.com detailing what you need and when. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to let you know if we may accommodate your request!

Can you do rush orders?

We offer pick-up or shipping from our studio as well as logistical coordination for courier and/or full service delivery + installation with our partner vendors. We'll also recommend the best options for you depending on your order.

How do I receive my final items?

We do not offer designs for sale or digital use unless it is part of an order and with set requirements. All designs are protected by copyright laws and design rights. Please do not attempt to replicate or reproduce our designs, which would be considered a violation of copyright laws.

ARE DIGITAL DESIGNS FOR SALE?

Our order minimum is $1,500 per order. We breakdown orders by completion dates. For example, wedding invitations are a seperate order from wedding day-of items. If you're unsure whether you meet our requirements, it never hurts to ask. We're always here to answer any questions!

WHAT’S YOUR ORDER MINIMUM?

During the invitation design phase of our process, we offer a physical sample of your custom invitation design as part of our process. For wedding day-of items, we offer material samples at an additional cost.

Do you offer samples?

For orders, we package everything safely and securely with a plethora of packaging solutions. You may rest assured that we ship all items with the utmost care and love.

We also offer to mail your invitations on your behalf so its hassle-free for you as an additional service. This means that we'll package, seal, postage, and drop-off in person to our local post office.

How is mailing handled?

Yes! We have a small collection of custom-made steel frames available to rent for your celebration! Please let us know if you require one when you're booking with us.
